Dovetails are considered to be one of the strongest joints. That is why all our drawer boxes are built using this beautiful and timeless joint. Further, our boxes are built to last being made of solid maple.

Solid Doors and Molding

We use only solid wood doors, drawer fronts and molding. And while a lot of wood is imported from overseas, we buy our wood from lumber companies in Oregon. Here in the U.S., regulated by the FSC (forest stewardship council), lumber companies don’t clear cut and always replant ensuring future generations can enjoy the same beautiful forests we enjoy today.

Gemini Evo Water-Based Finish/Aqualux Chemcraft Clear Coat

From the beginning, we have been using water-based clear coat and pigmented finishes. They don’t pollute the environment like oil-based finishes do. They are also low VOC, so they don’t give off

harmful, unpleasant odors. Beyond the environmental and health benefits, water-based clear coat and pigmented finishes are superior in all other categories; color, durability and maintenance. They dry harder and are more chemically resistant to the elements. They also require less regular cleaning and don’t require special cleaners, just soap and water. Lastly, the Evo Eclipse is one of the premier water-based coatings available in North America and mixes to any designer color.

Cleaf Woodgrain Selections

Also, a recently very popular option are doors requiring no finishes at all. These Cleaf textured woodgrain doors have a thermos structured surface imitating the look and feel of real wood. They come in a variety of finishes from a driftwood grey (s027) to toasted espresso (s071).
